About The Presenter

Dr. Rick Schafer graduated from Texas A & M Universities Veterinary Program. He was awarded the Small Animal Veterinarian of the year by the state of Texas in 1989. He was certified in Acupuncture by IVAS in 1994 and was the US IVAS Course Coordinator for over 25 years. He has been actively involved with IVAS and served on the IVAS Board of Directors as the Treasurer for over 6 years. He is the Owner of All Creatures Acupuncture where he treats horses in Texas, Colorado, and Indiana and one of veterinarians for the Texas State Aquarium.

Fly into San Antonio International Airport (SAT) many airlines offer direct flights.

The airport is located just 14.8 miles from the barn, which is about 20 minutes depending on traffic.

There is no host hotel for this event so you will need to find your own lodging. There are also options available with Airbnb and other rental groups.
