Dr. Constanza Gómez ÁlvarezConstanza

Constanza graduated in 1998 as a veterinarian and a degree in veterinary science in Chile. She obtained her PhD in equine Biomechanics at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands in 2007. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture (CVA: IVAS) and in therapy in canine rehabilitation (CCRT: CRI). Constanza has worked in academia in different countries and in veterinary practice with alpacas, horses, cattle (including horses of rodeo in Chile) and small animals since 2000. She is currently working at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, where she is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS), she teaches Biomechanics and animal movement; and practices research on dogs and horses in the laboratory of biomechanics veterinary she runs.
