Mountain Veterinary Hospital is a full service small animal practice providing conventional surgical and medical treatment for dogs and cats as well as physical therapy, rehabilitation, and alternative medicine.
Alternative medicine includes acupuncture, stem cell/platelet rich plasma therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine. We have an underwater treadmill, two Class IV lasers, digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house blood chemistry. Mentoring to further your knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese herbals is available by Dr Michelle Schraeder, an international lecturer and instructor in TCVM.
The position provides training for those interested in surgery. In addition to our regular surgeries, we also work with the local humane society to provide no-cost surgeries to adoptable animals in need.
We are expanding from three doctors to four. Our doctors and staff work collaboratively. Two of our doctors have Masters degrees in education and there is an emphasis on continuing education and staff training. New graduates are welcome to apply, and can expect a supportive work environment with extensive mentoring.
We are looking for someone who fits our practice and will want to stay long term. We are frequently complemented by our clientele on our friendly/congenial staff and want to maintain that atmosphere.
